Game 5 between the Colorado Avalanche and Winnipeg Jets gets underway on Tuesday evening. Colorado has been all over goaltender Connor Hellebuyck in this series, and the Avs have scored four or more goals against him in each of the first four games.

Nichushkin scored in all four of those games, and I believe that success will continue in Game 5.

First, Nichushkin is a power-play specialist with 57% of his regular-season goals coming on the man advantage.

That is worth noting because Winnipeg finished the regular season ranked 21st in the league in penalty-kill percentage.

These special teams woes have continued into the postseason as the Jets rank 12th among the 16th playoff teams in penalty-kill percentage, so it's not shocking that Nichushkin scored on the power play in both Game 3 and Game 4.

He is coming off a hat-trick performance, and until Nichushkin gets left off the scoresheet, it is worth continuing to back him in this series.

I'm risking a half-unit on Nichushkin to score along with another half-unit on his teammate Mikko Rantanen.

I am fairly confident that at least one of these two guys will find the back of the net, which would guarantee a profit. And, if both score – all the better.

Now is the time to buy low on Rantanen, who has yet to find the back of the net in this series. He is simply far too talented offensively for that trend to continue.

Rantanen has recorded 10 shots on net and six assists through the first four games, so the offensive production is there despite the lack of goal scoring. With that said, he is last on the team in goals above expected, meaning he is generating the high-danger scoring chances but just not finishing.

Whenever that is the case for a guy of Rantanen's scoring ability, positive regression is usually right around the corner.

Speaking of buy-low candidates, catching 2-1 odds on Vancouver forward J.T. Miller is just far too good to pass up. He has scored just once in this series, but he has been the best offensive player on either team.

I know Brock Boeser is coming off a hat-trick performance in Game 4, and this is not to take anything away from him or that performance, but the offense has run through Miller this series. Some are making Nashville goaltender Juuse Saros out to be the scapegoat of the last two losses because of his low SV%, but those poor numbers are far more of a result of the defensive play in front of him.

Granted, Saros has also not played up to the standard that we probably expect from someone of his caliber. At the end of the day, Miller gets to the gritty areas but can also score from the outside, and with how well he has played, I would be shocked if he remains at just one goal through the first five games.
